Incredible Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl
Posted on October 30, 2017
This smoothie bowl is healthy, thick, smooth and creamy, vegan, dairy free and amazingly delicious!! It’s made with fresh pumpkin, banana, apple, peanut butter, coconut milk, vanilla essence and spices. And it’s topped with fresh fruit and an assortment of seeds…YUM!
You can also make this Incredible Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl with any dairy free milk of your choice, or if you’re in love with Greek yoghurt like I am (INNNN LOVE, that’s me!), you can substitute the yoghurt in place of the coconut milk. This is great if you’re looking for a real protein fix, like after a high intensity cardio workout or a tough yoga sesh.
Any which way you decide to make this pumpkin pie smoothie bowl, you’re gonna LOVE it!
By the way, I have a sneaky suspicion that your kids will love this smoothie just as much as you will! It really tastes just like a thick and delicious pumpkin pie milkshake, so my guess is this one is kid friendly for sure.

This smoothie bowl can be made with canned pumpkin if you’re pressed for time, just use the same amount as you would for fresh pumpkin, throw it into your blender with the other ingredients and blitz to creamy perfection.
Incredible topped with:
- Chopped nuts such as almonds, pecans or macadamias
- Fresh fruit of any kind! My favourites are apple, banana, pawpaw, mango, stone fruit and pineapple, sometimes all at once, and occasionally I’m more restrained!
- Dried fruit like goji berries, apricots, pears or mango
- Seeds seeds seeds! I used pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds. Sesame seeds and chia sees are also great
- Coconut shavings, these are never out of place when it comes to breakfast if you ask me
This little smoothie in a bowl is FILLING people. In the best possible way…Don’t you hate it when you get weak at the knees an hour and a half after having breakfast, and then you have to snack, and finding something healthy to snack on is not always très easy!
You won’t have that problem if you eat this Incredible Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl for breakfast.
It kept me going all the way until lunch time, when I was hungry but not starving (which is a win in my books).
Nice little side note: This smoothie bowl is perfect for taking to work! It’s super thick so you can store it in a container and not worry about it slurping out all over the place, and it doesn’t go a weird colour over time which can be a bit off-putting. Nope, this one stays looking super scrumptious.
If you have kids, please feed them some of this amazingly tasty Incredible Pumpkin Pie Smoothie Bowl and let me know if they love it??!! Where are all the cute kiddies when you need them.
