Makaranga Garden Lodge & Enchanted Gardens

Plus tea, coffee & treats!!

I’m not sure I’ve ever walked through such a big, beautiful forest-y garden as this one at Makaranga Garden Lodge…So lush and green with little dams and waterfalls everywhere you look.  Tiny paths winding their way through sky high trees.  Enchanting it certainly is. 

When possible, a birthday outing is essential am I right?  This was my lovely mother’s birthday coffee with old friends that I tagged along on…You know, for celebrations, photographs of the surroundings and just a teensy bit for the delicious treats!?! 

Let’s take a walk through this amazing garden together….

Time for tea and coffee…

I had the milk tart and it was one of the best!  I also had a taste of the Lemon Meringue Pie and the Carrot cake and both were really delicious.

There is a very cute little trinket store right next to the deck where we had our coffee party.

There are 20 rooms at Makaranga Garden Lodge that you can stay in, a restaurant and library bar.  I’ll definitely be back for more coffee shop adventures and perhaps the odd lunch or breakfast!  I highly recommend you take a walk through the enchanted gardens and stop for a refreshment or meal if you’re in the area, we all loved it and I’m sure you will too.
