You can sit inside where it’s cozy (perfect in winter or if it’s drizzly), or head through to the courtyard for the garden experience…this is my preference, it’s shady and cool under the massive leopard trees, ahhh sit back and relax!
There’s nothing like discovering a peaceful, cool and inviting garden coffee shop / restaurant right in the middle of a bustling city. Just what’s needed for a moment of calm amidst a hectic day, or a fun activity on the weekend!
While there is no play area here for children, there are plenty of tables outside (so you’ll probably have your pick of where to sit during the week, and on weekends it’s likely you’ll find a good spot). It’s quite spacious so your kiddo’s won’t feel hemmed in.
Pictured above is a baked cheesecake with white chocolate topping and I highly recommend 🙂

- Mismatched crockery (love <3)
- Delicious food and the best coffee, tea, fresh juices and smoothies (they have a huge menu)
- It’s one of the best fully halaal coffee shops / restaurants in Durban
- Child friendly (but sadly no play area)
Plus The Quirky Antique Cafe Durban is just a short drive down the hill to the Durban Beachfront where you will find more restaurants, cafes and coffee shops right on the promenade. Check out this helpful post – Things To Do In Durban Beachfront.
